well....

so basically i've decided that my family is crazy. tonight was my cousin's baby's first birthday so there was a party for him. it was at my aunt and uncle's house here in ames and there was just a bunch of us sitting around and talking after some other people had left. our topics of conversation golfing and picking up rocks. i grew up on a farm and we have quite a nice collection of rocks that have come from our field. and by rocks i mean rock/ small boulder or at least rocks that require a lot of digging up and a tractor. my family also likes to joke around a lot so suggestions for deciding which rocks to pick up without having to spend forever doing it was rocks that are at least the size of your head or rocks you can see from our house. and my dad and uncle were talking about past golf experiences and back in the day my uncle's air conditioner leaking into his car so he had a mini lake on the floor, but that was a better choice than my dad's car because his didn't have air and it had vinyl seats. ooooo and me and my pops are planning on going deer hunting for my birthday this year:) except for this time going first season in december so we can get nice bucks and then i could hang it in my dorm room...oooo and i might get to buy a shotgun:)
i had to work early today so i got to work at 6:45 left at 4:15 my body wasn't happy with me. i was making someone a mocha and i almost stuck the wand to steam the milk with into the cup with chocolate instead of the milk pitcher and i couldn't remember what i was doing half the time. i think that my mind/body is in denial of what time zone it lives in. but i did get to re-do the sign that sits in the hall (the front side anyway) so if you see it that was me and if it looks bad i'll just take no clam in to it...but anyway it was fun and it helped kill two hours in the afternoon. i need to finish my laundry though, and clean my room, and clean out my car, and sleep so i can get up early tomorrow to go to cedar rapids. but i am excited i got a pineapple for my breakfast and i got a starbucks gift card for doing some survey for this girl so i can get free caffeine too! yeah pineapple!! oooo note to self BUY FISHING LISCENSE!!
