coffee, guns, and farming

So this past weekend I went home to Burt and Eryn came with me. My dad's birthday was on Saturday but it started snowing that day so we went out to eat on Sunday. Me and Eryn did go to a coffee shop in Algona which was a lot of fun. Then we went back to Burt and had pork patties and potatoes...yums!!!! After dinner (the meal you eat in the middle of the day!) my dad taught Eryn how to shoot a .22 and a shotgun. We shot targets, barn windows, and clay pigeons. Then we got turkey roast, another yums, for supper (your night time meal) and after that we played the farming game which is bundles of fun but very time consuming. So yeah, hooray for being a farm girl!!

For any of you who may not know this about me I am definitely not a morning person. I would rather stay up until 6:00 AM as opposed to waking up then. But today I did get up at 6:00 to meet with Eryn at 6:30 and of course I managed to find a way to stay up until around 2:30; yet I'm really not that tired. I don't think I'll be turning into a morning person anytime soon but maybe I won't dislike mornings so much.

Psalm 33:10-11 "The Lord shatters the plans of the nations and thwarts all their schemes. But the Lord's plans stand firm forever; his intintions can never be shaken."
