summer

Summer is almost over and it really wasn't much of anything I expected it to be. For one thing I was planning on working somewhere, maybe even two places. Before school got out I had an interview at Reiman Gardens and was really hoping to be able to work there. It was full time, outside, got off early afternoon, and was a decent paying job; all of which would have been helpful in paying for summer expenses and saving some money for school. That job didn't work out and it was disappointing but I knew God must have something else in mind. I have been taking two online classes this summer so I worked on those at tried to find a different job. Many applications and only one more interview later I am still without a job and will soon be getting ready to start my fall classes. I have really enjoyed living in Ames this summer and am glad I did, I do believe God wanted me here this summer it just didn't look at all like me or my parents had envisioned it earlier.

what is your favorite poem by edgar allan poe? i like the raven, my freshman year in 109 we had to do a art piece based on a poem and i chose that one and got to beat an old radio/alarm with a hammer, it was a slightly destructive piece. it was fun.
