Finally an update . . .

So for those of you who have been waiting in eager anticipation of the outcome of my brother's state Golf tournament . . . sorry. I've been a little distracted of late - okay, all summer.

My brother, being the stallion that he is finished his first nine of the last 18 holes one under par by sinking an incredible putt for birdie on hole five. The rest of the day was difficult for Dan. Walking 18 holes of golf two days in a row takes a lot out of you, and despite his exhaustion, he held his game together very well. His last hole was the most difficult. He ended up with a triple boogey on a 3-par hole. Very disappointing for Dan, and not the most exciting way to end a State Golf Tournament.

However, he ended with a 155 on the 36 holes for the tournament which landed him a three way tie for 10th place. And after four years of hard work, he finally made it to state golf. An accomplishment none too shabby!

P.S. - And something totally UN-related to golf, but completely related to my brother . . . Congratulations! He's getting married in June!
